"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up." -1 Thessalonians 5:11
I've been thinking about this verse a lot lately. Largely because it's something I want to impress on my children. But also because in this social media driven world it is so easy to get sucked into making snap judgments, pulling people down, and using our words to discourage. But we are called to do the opposite of that: to encourage others and build them up. Not only in their earthly pursuits but also (especially) in their walk of faith.
So I want to take a second to thank you for being an encouragement to me: by reading my emails, buying my books, leaving reviews, spreading the word, and connecting with me. I pray that I may also be an encouragement to you through my books, my emails, and my other interactions with you and that we may continue to build one another up in our faith.
Speaking of encouragement, I really needed some this week as I dove into revisions on Not Until You. Let's just say there was a lot of staring at the computer screen involved. For a couple days there, I was afraid I'd have to put this book aside. But then I had a good conversation about the book with my husband, the sun came out, and the words started to flow. Which is good news because it means the book should be on track for an April release!
In other book news, I've decided to change the title of Not Until Valentine's. It is now Not Until This Moment. (The Valentine's-oriented title seemed to be steering some people away from the book.)
If you already bought the book, it may or may not (depending on your device) now show up with a new title (and a few tweaks to the cover image). It's still the same exact story inside, though. If you haven't already read this book, the good news is I've decided to extend the 99 cent price--grab it here (or read free in Kindle Unlimited). This book could really use some review love if you have a second as well. :)
